Privacy
Last updated 13 July 2026. This plain-language notice describes the data used by the current Solmere Online alpha. Formal company and contact details will be added before a wider public release.
Data used by Solmere
Account services store the email address and username you provide, a one-way password hash, optional encrypted authenticator setup data, and single-use recovery-code hashes. Game services store your characters, appearance, inventory, equipment, progression, position, and playtime.
Why it is used
This data is used to authenticate you, recover and protect your account, operate the persistent game world, show your own account information, and display the public top-ten character ranking. The public ranking contains character name, class, level, and playtime—not account email addresses.
Browser storage
Sign-in tokens are kept in session storage by default. If you choose “Keep me signed in,” the token is stored locally on that device until it expires or you sign out. The current site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Alpha retention and requests
Alpha data may be reset as development requires. A verified account-data request process and an official privacy contact are not yet published. Do not send sensitive personal information through character names or other in-game text.
